US album sales: #123 Thriller 2,922 (6,437,713 since 1991) & #182 Number Ones 2,185 (5,103,768) by @michaeljackson.

Xscpae ist nun leider auf Platz der best-verkauften 2014 zurückgefallen, aber sicher trotzdem ein Erfolg. Taylor Swift hat in der 1. Woche mit ihrem neuem Album über 1,6 Mio. verkauft und ist damit gleich auf Plazt 8 der Bestseller-Alben 2014 eingestiegen. So eine Verkaufszahl hat schon lange keiner mehr geschafft.

Michael Jackson's “Thriller” re-enters the chart at 35, due to its annual Halloween resurgence. The song sold 39K digital copies in the week ending Nov. 2, bringing its total to 3,689,000. Jackson was a shrewd career strategist, but I doubt even he knew he was creating a Halloween perennial when he cut this song in 1982.

Aber der Reeintritt ist doch erstaunlich, da es offensichtlich keinerlei Sonderangebot-Aktionen zum Albun in den großen Märkten gab.

Die Nominierungen für den Musikpreis Echo 2015 wurden bekannt gegeben.

Darunter befindet sich auch der verstorbene Sänger Michael Jackson, der den Preis in der Kategorie "Künstler Rock/Pop international" bekommen könnte.

Favoritin ist jedoch in vielen Kategorien die Schlagerqueen Helene Fischer. Wer die Preise erhält, wird sich am 26. März entscheiden. Die ARD zeigt die Show live.
