Bad ist das siebte Soloalbum Michael Jacksons. Es wurde am 31. August 1987 von Epic Records veröffentlicht und ist Jacksons drittes und letztes Album, welches von Quincy Jones produziert wurde. Jackson war 1983 mit dem Vorgängeralbum Thriller, dem meistverkauften Album der Welt, zum „Megastar“ avanciert. Das Nachfolgealbum Bad wurde mit großer Spannung erwartet, erschien aber später als erhofft. Es wurde bisher schätzungsweise über 32 Millionen Mal verkauft.
