Die Petition stammt ja vom Jahr 2008 und die Initiatoren war ein Forum aus UK...Der Link zu dem Forum funktionert zwar nicht mehr, aber die Personen, die hinter der Petition stehen müsste man doch erzählen, dass wir ihre Petition an den Estate schicken oder?

Dear Ladies and Gentleman,

News reached us that there still are no confirmed plans for the long awaited release of a Bad-tour-concerts compilation of Michael´s.
We found that terribly disappointing - because now the time is really running out ! By now we already ARE in the year of the 25th anniversary of Michael´s Bad-Tour.
So it is highly due to do ´something´ about it ! And not just "something" - but worthwhile professional work that Michael could be proud of !

We, as a community of MJ-Fans in Germany, send you this urgent request and remembrance, to get into action to take on the work on a Special-Edition-Bad-Tour-DVD-Set, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this legendary tour und to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. Please - let our wish come true ! And for sure, you would also act as Michael would have wished, as happened with the release of Bad´s precursor - the 25th anniversary of his album Thriller, which included at least the best original short films of this era of his work, re-recorded and produced by Michael with alternative Versions of some of the Thriller songs plus even - as an extra bonus - the until then unreleased song "For All Times".

We're already longing for the release of a Bad-Tour-DVD (preferred a show from 1988) since such a long time, it feels like ages.
Actually, we would appreciate to have them ALL complete in a big Collectors-Box. That would be more than a dream come true - the best possible release, acknowledgement and homage of this true epic one-of-its-kind tour ever !

We're also really really longing for an additional Backstage-Documentary. It would be a treasure to us !
And we would love to get a Special-Bad-CD with Bonus-Demos and unreleased songs (like it was made for Thriller in 2008).

For sure along with it you can create a superb booklet. Let´s get your designers to work - make it a package like it has never been seen before - one of a kind ! Don't be shy, please don´t hesitate - and surprise us with some brilliant specials :o)

It would be a true gift for all fans and a huge success ! We all PROMISE you that !!! We can´t wait any longer for all of these releases ! It is our heart´s deepest desire ! So please... PLEASE think about it really seriously ! Please do all what you can, to honor and pay tribute to this first solo tour of Michael, the biggest and most successful tour of the 80th´s, of a whole decade.

This success and the pure magic of his Bad-tour has never ceased or vanished and it WILL continue with a new and first official release of Bad-concert-DVD´s, please believe us !

At the same time, you will finally have the chance to STOP the majority of the vast of unauthorized DVD crap immediately and instead get all the money for the Estate.

Pay tribute with the best possible high-quality technical- and artwork to the King of Pop (and his Fans) - like you did, with the corporation with Cirque del Soleil and the amazing Immortal-CD release. Michael and his fans deserve it !

This will be a one single chance to do the right thing, right now.

This date of anniversary will never come back again ! So please react !!!

You will do this favor for Michael - as well as for yourself as a company - whose work-task and commitment (!) is to treasure, share and develop his legacy.
Take that into serious consideration and then - finally - get into action.

Many months we´ve patiently waited and hoped for the first release ever of one of Michael Jackson´s Bad Concerts on DVD, but now disappointment begins to course through the vast fan base of Michael.

Is it true that you´re still NOT working on such a DVD-release ?
PLEASE tell us that this is NOT TRUE ! Cause if nothing happens yet and right now - we really can´t believe it…

We would like to go forward and in this moment, want to speak for ALL of us fans here:
We are really truly YEARNING for a concert-release of his Bad-Tour ! We´ve already waited for so long !

Michael´s Bad-Tour of 1988 is a true phenomena of its own and its not only a pity that still until today, NOTHING seems to happen concerning ANY DVD release at all !

To tell you the truth: It already feels like a disdain and complete belittling ignorance towards all the hard work HE himself put in it ! Think about that, please !
After all these years - 25 by now ! - especially the Bad-Tour, his first solo tour ever DESERVES to appear on DVD, in high quality. Don´t you agree ? !

It would really really be a dream come true IF you´d feel the same way… cause now it´s the time, now it´s the chance, don´t waste it …DON´T - the 25th anniversary year of BAD has already risen !
We would like to ask you - from the deepest place of our own soul - to take our serious and open request to YOUR very heart NOW.

You would make us one of the gifts of our lifetime, one that we would always cherish, treasure and be deeply grateful for. We would be SO happy !!!

find ich eine super Idee.

Ich könnte es im "Fanship turns to Friendship" posten, da wir ja eh gerade mit ihnen bezüglich AE in Kontakt stehen. Hab mich vorgestern dort angemeldet, warte nur noch auf Freischaltung meines Accounts.

Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass sie nichts dagegen haben, wozu haben sie sonst die Petition ins Leben gerufen. Die würde ja eh früher oder später beim Estat landen. Also warum jetzt lange nach einem Initiator der Pedition suchen .... versucht haben wir es ja.

Gerade an der Stelle ist mir heute die Idee gekommen... ... ...Und habe mich dabei auch sofort gefragt , warum wir da nicht schon vorher drauf gekommen sind... ...

Je mehr dabei mitmachen und das Estate direkt auf das Thema ansprechen & hinweisen, desto besser ! ...

Habe die Sache Cyplone ( Mod im MJ-NET und User hier) zunächst mal per PN mitgeteilt.

Ich hab jetzt Korgnex per PN angeschrieben von Fanship turns to Friendship, da mein Account dort leider noch nicht freigeschaltet ist und sie ja seit kurzer Zeit auch hier bei uns im Forum als User angemeldet ist.

wie sieht`s denn mit dieser Aktion aus ..... wie ist der Stand der Dinge

Vom MJ-NET kam übrigens keine Reaktion .......

...keine Ahnung. Die Briefe sind ja so weit fertig denke ich. Wer noch Einfügungen haben möchte, muss sich jetzt an die Mods wenden, ich habe keinen Editier-Zugriff mehr.

Habe jetzt auch versucht geduldig zu sein, und auch mit auf die Reaktionen der angeschriebenen anderen Foren gewartet. Wenn die allerdings das Anliegen nicht als für WICHTIG genug ansehen ... ... ... ...dann ist denen wohl auch nicht mehr zu helfen.

Will offenbar keiner eine BAD-Tour-DVD ! ...nunja, wenn denen das alles egal ist... ...hoffen wohl auf ein WUNDER von Sony und dem Estate. ...
