Taj Jackson hatte wegen eines sehr ketzerischen und verabscheuungswürdigen Artikels in der "The Sun", vom 5.10.2013, Beschwerde bei der PCC (UK Press Complaints Commission) eingelegt, in dem die "Journalistin" lorraine.kelly in ihrer Kolummne Michael's Mutter und Familie als "gierige Geier" bezeichnet, die einzig aus "Gier" den Zivilprozess gegen AEG-Live angestrebt hätten.
Taj verlangte für diese bösartige, verleumderische und diskriminierende Behauptung und Unterstellung eine öffentliche Entschuldigung, die von der "Journalistin" jetzt, in der Ausgabe der "The Sun" vom 25.1.2014, ausgesprochen wurde.

Wortlaut:
I had some pretty harsh things to say about the Jackson family in my column of october 5.
I said I thought their civil action against AEG, promoters of the ill-fated This is it concerts,
was all about "cold, hard cash" and that Michael Jackson's bones should not be picked over
by vulture-like lawyers and shameless members of his family. Strong stuff which didn't go
down well with the Jackson clan.
Michael's nephew Taj has come back equally strongly in the family's defence. He explained
that in the US justice system, the only way to bring a civil suit against somebody is to do
so for money. The only "justice" available is to seek damages. He says: "What we wanted
to do was expose what happened to my uncle in his last months of life - the bullying, the
slapping of my uncle, how he was thrown into a cold shower and screamed at for not doing
what he was told."

Taj wies in seiner Beschwerde darauf hin, dass es in der US-Justize nur diese eine Möglichkeit
einer Zivilklage gäbe, in der "Gerechtigkeit" über Schadenersatz/Geldleistung beglichen wird.
Er sagte, dass es Michael's Familie vielmehr wichtig gewesen wäre, auf diesem Weg aufzudecken,
was Michael in seinen letzten Lebensmonaten durchmachen mußte und wie mit ihm umgegangen
wurde. Das Mobbing, die Ohrfeigen/Schläge, wie er unter eine kalte Dusche geschubst und angeschrien
wurde.
