    Ich finde APWNN einfach nur ein Hammersong und durch den Text läßt sich da ein wunderschönes Video mit viel Phantasie drehen. Ich hoffe, daß der Regisseur genug Kreativität hat, um ein tolles Video dafür zu erschaffen, so wie es Michael vielleicht getan hätte.


    Was ist eigentlich aus Loving You geworden? Wurde es bei uns schon Radio gespielt, sollte doch als Brückensong fürs Radio sein.

    Nein Loving you war keine Brückensingel, das wurde nur von einer nicht offiziellen Quelle und von Damien Shields in seinem Blog verbreitet.
    Es wird derzeit allerdings in der UK gut im Radio gespielt:

    Und das kann man wohl als Fortseztung der Album-Promotion bezeichnen. In den USA wird am 13. August eine MJ-Themebezogene Sendung zu [b]SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE ausgestrahlt. Alle Performances werden zu MJ-Songs gemacht, zu seinen Klassikern, zu seiner neuen Single APWNN und zu anderen Songs von Xscape.[/b]



    On Wednesday, Aug. 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed), on a special themed-episode, each performance will be choreographed to a Michael Jackson song, either one of his classics or one from his current album, "Xscape." Jackson's new single, "A Place With No Name," from "Xscape," will be featured in the Top Eight group performance.

    Epic Records and The Estate of Michael Jackson, announced today that “A Place With No Name,” the next single from this year’s critically acclaimed, chart-topping Michael Jackson album Xscape [MJJ Music/Epic Records], will make history when it premieres on Twitter (twitter.com). At 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 13, 2014 the short film will be tweeted through@MichaelJackson allowing the Twitter universe to be able to view the video within a tweet. And for those fans in New York City, “A Place With No Name” will be shown on the massive Sony screen in Times Square at the very same moment.

    Kurze Inhaltsangabe: Das Video wird erstmalig über Twitter verbreitet (hat es in der Form noch NIE gegeben) und gleichzeitig am Time Square in NY ausgestrahlt. Abends wird es dann im Rahmen der Sendung "You can Dance" ausgestrahlt. Das Video beinhaltet noch nie gezeigte Szenen vom Dreh "In the Closet". :wolke1:

    So ist es. Die Amis (also in NY) liegen ja sechs Stunden zurück, daher:


    NY 10:00 pm = 22:00 Uhr OZ --> 04:00 Uhr MESZ (bei uns)


    Ich bin auch schon wahnsinnig gespannt, vor allem weil Michael ja ein realer Teil des Videos sein wird und nicht wie bei LNFSG in Ausschnitten aus alten Videos.


    Ich finde die Promotion für das Album zwar bisher relativ zurückhaltend, dafür aber gewaltig, wenn man bedenkt dass sowohl bei STTR (bei den BBMA) als auch jetzt bei APWNN neue Wege gegangen werden und bisher nicht genutzte Techniken verwendet werden ("Hologram"-Performance und jetzt eben das Twitter-Video)! Weiter so, Sony!!

In addition, each of the Top Eight performances will feature a Michael Jackson song, either one of his classics or from his current album, “Xscape.”

    Returning guest judge, actress and dancer Jenna Dewan-Tatum will join judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, as the Top Eight finalists – Rudy Abreu, Casey Askew, Tanisha Belnap, Zack Everhart, Jacque LeWarne, Jessica Richens, Valerie Rockey and Ricky Ubeda – will be paired up with All-Star partners to perform for America’s votes. The All-Stars include Stephen “tWitch” Boss (Season Four), Ryan Di Lello (Season Six), Makenzie Dustman (Season 10), Comfort Fedoke (Season Four), Jaimie Goodwin (Season Three), Allison Holker (Season Two), Nick Lazzarini (Season One) and William Wingfield (Season Four).
